Onkos muuten kokeneemmilla kommenttia nuitten ohjeisiin, silkkaa jenkkihapatusta vai ihan asiaa?
Lainaan kcadbyn tekstistä:
"The most important thing in my opinion is to be smooooooth...
Try to make your clutch more like a torq converter than a clutch (keep RPM steady while launching).
Start at 4,000rpm. Don't be a "Throttle Jockey"...hold the rpm STEADY before you start letting the clutch out. Try "driving off" from a dead stop keeping the rpm as close to 4,000 as you can as you accelerate to the point where the clutch is fully engaged.
Once you've feel comfortable at 4K, you can work your way up to the 6-7K that you need to launch at for the best 330ft times (even at 4K you will be slipping clutch almost to the 60FT, so GOOD clutch control will effects the 330ft times more [for me] than the 60ft...
Lean as far forward as you can over the tank, STAY THERE until AFTER that bad-boy is in second gear!!! Then you can think about moving back on the seat to make yourself as "small" as you can for the rest of the run.
There's no reason you can't practice shifting smooth (without clutch) while your every day street riding. Learn to make all your shifts as quick and smooth as possible. If you learn to shifts smooth at 5 or 6+K, it will be even easier to shift this way at the higher revs...
VERY IMPORTANT As stated above...when you go to "the track"... NEVER line up in the middle of the lane!
ALWAYS use the same pavement that the cars tires use...
Even if it doesn't "look as good" as the center of the track, the traction will ALWAYS be better in the cars tire tracks ..."
